Адам из праха сделан был земного
И опосля погружен в крепкий сон,
А из ребра Адамова худого
Был втОрый человечек сотворён.

И та вторая Евой обозвалась
И обрела достоинство жены
С наказом, чтобы мужу подчинялась
И избегала козней сатаны.

А ты, Адам, -сказал ему Всевышний,
Накрепко прилепись к своей жене,
Она тебе отнынь ближнее ближних,
А здеся хватит вам всего вполне.

Живите и плодитесь-размножайтесь
В раю Едемском, юные друзья,
Едою благородною питайтесь,
Лишь с древа одного ести нельзя.

Не прикасайтесь же к плодам красивым
От древа моего добра и зла,
Хотите жить в блаженствии счастливом
Не слушайте ни змея, ни козла!

Диавол же в обличии змеином
Коварной речью Еву обольстил,
Свершилося - и плод она вкусила,
А вместе с нею и Адам вкусил.

И вдруг они чего-то там познали,
Глядели друг на дружку со стыдом
И срамоту, стесняясь, прикрывали
Кто ручкой, а кто фиговым листом.

Прогневался Творец и всех их проклял,
И, не жалея, кинул сверху вниз -
Вот значит, что быть с молодости рохлей
И вредный бабский исполнять каприз!

И были вечера и были утра,
С тех пор всю жизнь на чреве змей ходил,
В поту лица Адам свой хлеб насущный
С сохою и мотыгою растил.

Он с той поры господствовал над Евой
И жил во скорби собственным трудом,
Она ж, рожая, оченно болела,
Что было ей, прям скажем, поделом!

Они тогда совсем еще не знали,
Что их потомки землю заплодят,
Что старший их сыночек будет Каин,
Что Авеля на смерть они родят,

Что правнук Ной в шатре своём упьётся
И будет голым хрюкать, как свинья,
Что первым Хам над папой посмеётся
И всё сородичам расскажет, не тая,

Что Сим и Иафет, ступая задом,
Прикроют непотребствие отца,
А как проспится, - выдадут что надо,
Про своего братана-подлеца,

И что мораль их будет: в пьяном виде
Узришь батяню - в голос не кричи,
Накрой циновкой, чтоб никто не видел,
И завсегда стыдись его и чти!

Что дальше Лот - племянник Авраама
Двух дочерей в наложницы возьмёт,
И каждую, по пьянке сделав мамой,
Продолжит захиревший древний род.

Между двух рек в земле обетовАнной
Когда-то начинался первый след
Всех фарисеев, Хамов, Ханаанов,
Всех Иегуд ветхозаветных лет.

Ах, кабы ведать Еве и Адаму,
Что весь бардак в грядущие века,
Вся жизнь в трагикомедиях и драмах
Пойдут от первородного греха!
