Двадцать лет назад тому. соблюдая этику,
И с утра, и в час ночной строго, не шутя,
Он учил нас мастерству в Клубе Энергетиков:
Он нам был отец родной, а мы ему - дитя.

Он успел и там и тут, он - кусок истории.
Дарованием своим покоряет свет.
За плечами институт, три консерватории,
Сорок дисков, сто картин и один балет.

Он в работе ночь и день, пот со лба не вытерев,

Больше б членов там таких, больше был бы толк.

Что Светланов сам сказал, мол, тушите свет.

Он на студии в сто крат выше Фила Спектора,
Спектор плачет всякий раз, слыша Сашин звук.
Он в своих рядах для нас воспитал директора
И отдал за просто так - вот что значит друг.

Он Россию просветил и к другому берегу
Свой тогда направил челн смело, ну а там,
Он, по слухам, покорил ихнюю Америку,
Жаль, у них все чаще он и все реже к нам.

Он не меньше, чем Сократ, в плане сочинительства,
Он за свой недолгий век победил стократ.
Только что не космонавт и не член правительства,
Не народный, не генсек и не депутат.
