...Вижу я, как пилигримы вышли из Очарованной страны и вступили в страну Сочетания, где воздух чистый, дорога ровная. Некоторое время они шли молча, наслаждаясь удивительной красотой природы. Щебет птиц, благоухание трав и цветов, воркование горлиц... Здесь солнце светит днем и ночью: долина Смертной Тени и замок Сомнение с великаном Отчаяние очень далеко... Зато ясно виден Небесный Град - цель всего путешествия. Уже начали встречаться им жители этого Града. Именно здесь был заключен союз Жениха и Невесты, и как жених радуется невесте своей, так Бог радуется при виде Своих искупленных... Наши странники не нуждались здесь ни в вине, ни в хлебе, ибо нашли в изобилии все то, что с трудом находили во все время своего странствования. Они даже слышали громкие голоса, доносящиеся из самого Града: "Скажите дщери Сиона: грядет Спаситель твой; награда Его с Ним", а жители страны обращались к ним: "Святый народ, искупленный Господом!".

В этой дивной стране сердца их переполняло доселе незнакомое им чувство радости. И чем ближе приближались они к Граду, тем яснее вырисовывались его контуры. Фасады домов были украшены дорогими каменьями, каждые ворота были из одной жемчужины, а мостовые вымощены золотом. Весь этот блеск, все это великолепие, солнечные лучи, отражающиеся в них, вызвали в сердцах пилигримов страстное желание увидеть своего Спасителя.

... I see how the pilgrims left the fascinated country and entered the country of combination, where the air is clean, the road is flat. For some time they walked silently, enjoying the amazing beauty of nature. The bribe of birds, the fragrance of herbs and flowers, the cooing of the throat ... Here the sun shines day and night: the valley of the death shadows and the castle doubt with the giant is very far away ... But the heavenly city is clearly visible - the purpose of the whole trip. The inhabitants of this city have already begun to meet them. It was here that the Union of the bride and groom was concluded, and as the groom rejoices at his bride, so God rejoices at the sight of their redeemed ... Our wanderers did not need any fault or bread, for they found in abundance everything that they hardly found at all his wandering. They even heard loud voices coming from the hail itself: “Tell the Daching of Zion: your savior is coming; his reward with him,” and the inhabitants of the country turned to them: “The holy people, redeemed by the Lord!”.

In this marvelous country, the hearts overwhelmed with a hitherto, unfamiliar feeling of joy. And the closer they approached the degree, the more clearly its contours loomed. The facades of the houses were decorated with expensive stones, each gate were from one pearl, and the bridges were paved with gold. All this splendor, all this splendor, the sun's rays reflected in them, caused a passionate desire to see their savior in the hearts of the pilgrims.
