И голос сорвёшь в поиске нот,
И, может быть, даже попробуешь спеть.
Но знай, что напрасны твои труды,
Но в самом сердце -
Песнь Вечерней Звезды.
А дом её атакуют слова,
И в каждом из них ядовитый снаряд.
Так часто бывает - природа права,
И там, где нектар, вокруг будет яд.
Но ты приди и поверь в её дом,
Но для глаз это будет трудом.
Её руке подвластно кольцо,
Кольцу на руке подвластна вода.
И вода станет зеркалом и скажет в лицо
О том, что не видно из-подо льда.
И поймёшь - это капля замёрзшей воды,
Но в самом сердце -
Песнь Вечерней Звезды.
Ветра, не имевшие строгих начал,
Корабль приведут на прощальный причал.
С минуты, как только отступит война,
Их будет ждать у причала волна.
И благословенный Вечерней Звездой,
С нею простится лес золотой.
Не будет прощальных песен и слёз,
Но в самом сердце:

A gold forest will be forgiven with her.
