Е́же пре́жде со́лнца Со́лнце заше́дшее иногда́ во гроб, предвари́ша ко у́тру, и́щущия я́ко дне мироно́сицы де́вы, и друга́ ко друзе́й вопия́ху: о други́ни, прииди́те, воня́ми пома́жем Те́ло живоно́сное и погребе́ное, плоть воскреси́вшаго па́дшаго Ада́ма, леща́щую во гро́бе. Прииди́те вси ве́рнии, поклони́мся свято́му Христо́ву Воскресе́нию: се бо прии́де Кресто́м ра́дость всему́ ми́ру. Irmos: Thou hast descended into the grave of the earth and crushed those of the eternal faith, containing the bound ones, Christ, and three days old as from the whale of John, resurrected from the grave.

Even before the sun The sun sometimes went into the grave, before the morning, looking for the bottom of the myrrh-bearing virgin, and another friend crying out: O friends, I come, the stench of God has buried the flesh and died.
