И я читаю по ночам, вникая в правила игры.
И я послал всё это к чёрту! Чёрт пришёл, чтоб объяснить -
"Одно из правил таково - ты должен кое-что убить!"

И я отправился в кабак - залить себя жидким огнём.
Мне всё казалось, будто я здесь почему-то не причём.

И я так радовался оставляя след свой на снегу.
Но вот подсел за стойку Бес, он мне на пальцах объяснил -
"Всё мироздание желает, чтоб ты кое-что убил!"

Я за секунду протрезвел, устало вышел на бульвар.
Безумный город заревел, глотая следующую тварь.
Добравшись до квартиры Друга, там, в серебряном дыму
На жёстком стуле я спросил его "зачем и почему?"
Но Друг ответил таким тоном, будто всё успел решить -
"Приятель, ты же просто не имеешь право не убить..."
