Через перешкоди, через все життя
Ми йдемо додому - в небо до Отця,
Бо лиш тут дочасні гості на землі, |
Нам покинуть треба ці краї. | (2)
Хоч і не погано тут ми живемо,
Набагато краще Батьківське гніздо
І все те, дорожче за життя земне, |
Що Господь в обітниці дає! | (2)
Ми душею линем, прагнемо туди,
Де на нас чекають сестри і брати,
Там, де нас обійме Батьківська рука |
І наповнить радість неземна. | (2)
Ми є тут дочасні гості на землі,
Нам покинуть треба ці краї...
Through obstacles, through life
We go home - to heaven to the Father,
For only here are temporary guests on earth, |
We need to leave these lands. | (2)
Although not bad here we live,
The parent nest is much better
And all that is more expensive than earthly life, |
What the Lord gives in the promise! | (2)
We are a soul, we strive there,
Where sisters and brothers are waiting for us,
Where the Father's hand will embrace us
And unearthly joy will fill. | (2)
We are here temporary guests on earth,
