И сказал Господь Моисею в пустыне Синайской во второй год по исшествии их из земли Египетской, в первый месяц, говоря:
пусть сыны Израилевы совершат Пасху в назначенное для нее время:
в четырнадцатый день сего месяца вечером совершите ее в назначенное для нее время, по всем постановлениям и по всем обрядам ее совершите ее.
И сказал Моисей сынам Израилевым, чтобы совершили Пасху.
И совершили они Пасху в первый месяц, в четырнадцатый день месяца вечером, в пустыне Синайской: во всем, как повелел Господь Моисею, так и поступили сыны Израилевы.
Были люди, которые были нечисты от прикосновения к мертвым телам человеческим, и не могли совершить Пасхи в тот день; и пришли они к Моисею и Аарону в тот день,
и сказали ему те люди: мы нечисты от прикосновения к мертвым телам человеческим; для чего нас лишать того, чтобы мы принесли приношение Господу в назначенное время среди сынов Израилевых?
И сказал им Моисей: постойте, я послушаю, что повелит о вас Господь.
И сказал Господь Моисею, говоря:
скажи сынам Израилевым: если кто из вас или из потомков ваших будет нечист от прикосновения к мертвому телу, или будет в дальней дороге, то и он должен совершить Пасху Господню;
в четырнадцатый день второго месяца вечером пусть таковые совершат ее и с опресноками и горькими травами пусть едят ее;
и пусть не оставляют от нее до утра и костей ее не сокрушают; пусть совершат ее по всем уставам о Пасхе;
а кто чист и не находится в дороге и не совершит Пасхи, истребится душа та из народа своего, ибо он не принес приношения Господу в свое время: понесет на себе грех человек тот;
если будет жить у вас пришелец, то и он должен совершать Пасху Господню: по уставу о Пасхе и по обряду ее он должен совершить ее; один устав пусть будет у вас и для пришельца и для туземца.
В тот день, когда поставлена была скиния, облако покрыло скинию откровения, и с вечера над скиниею как бы огонь виден был до самого утра.
Так было и всегда: облако покрывало ее днем и подобие огня ночью.
И когда облако поднималось от скинии, тогда сыны Израилевы отправлялись в путь, и на месте, где останавливалось облако, там останавливались станом сыны Израилевы.
По повелению Господню отправлялись сыны Израилевы в путь, и по повелению Господню останавливались: во все то время, когда облако стояло над скиниею, и они стояли;
и если облако долгое время было над скиниею, то и сыны Израилевы следовали этому указанию Господа и не отправлялись;
иногда же облако немного времени было над скиниею: они по указанию Господню останавливались, и по указанию Господню отправлялись в путь;
иногда облако стояло только от вечера до утра, и поутру поднималось облако, тогда и они отправлялись; или день и ночь стояло облако, и когда поднималось, и они тогда отправлялись;
или, если два дня, или месяц, или несколько дней стояло облако над скиниею, то и сыны Израилевы стояли и не отправлялись в путь; а когда оно поднималось, тогда отправлялись;
по указанию Господню останавливались, и по указанию Господню отправлялись в путь: следовали указанию Господню по повелению Господню, данному чрез Моисея.

And the Lord said unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai in the second year after they had departed from the land of Egypt, in the first month, saying:
May the sons of Israel celebrate Easter at the appointed time for her:
on the fourteenth day of this month, in the evening, do it at the appointed time for it, according to all the decrees and in all its rites, do it.
And Moses said unto the sons of Israel, that they might passover.
And they made Easter in the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month in the evening, in the Sinai desert: in all that the Lord commanded Moses, so did the sons of Israel.
There were people who were unclean from touching the dead human bodies, and could not celebrate Easter that day; and they came to Moses and Aaron that day,
and those people said to him: we are unclean from touching the dead bodies of men; Why deprive us of bringing the offering to the Lord at the appointed time among the sons of Israel?
And Moses said to them: Wait, I listen to what the Lord commands you to do.
And the Lord said unto Moses, saying:
say to the sons of Israel: if any of you or your descendants is unclean from touching a dead body, or is on a long journey, he must also celebrate the Passover of the Lord;
on the fourteenth day of the second month in the evening, may they make it, and with unleavened bread and bitter herbs let them eat it;
and let them not leave her until the morning and crush her bones; let them complete it according to all the statutes of Easter;
but whoever is clean and is not on the road and does not celebrate Easter, that soul will be destroyed from his people, for he did not bring an offering to the Lord in due time: that person will bear the sin;
if an alien lives with you, then he must also celebrate the Passover of the Lord: according to the charter of the Passover and its rite, he must celebrate it; let you have one charter for both the alien and the native.
On the day that the tabernacle was set up, a cloud covered the tabernacle of revelation, and from the evening over the tabernacle, as if, fire was visible until morning.
It has always been like this: a cloud covered it during the day and a semblance of fire at night.
And when the cloud rose from the tabernacle, then the sons of Israel set off, and at the place where the cloud stopped, the sons of Israel stopped there.
At the command of the Lord, the sons of Israel set off on the journey, and at the command of the Lord they stopped: at all times when the cloud was above the tabernacle, and they were standing;
and if the cloud was over the tabernacle for a long time, then the sons of Israel followed this command of the Lord and did not go;
sometimes the cloud was a little time over the tabernacle: they stopped at the direction of the Lord, and went on the way at the direction of the Lord;
sometimes the cloud stood only from evening to morning, and in the morning the cloud rose, then they set off; or a cloud stood day and night, and when it rose, and then they set off;
or, if two days, or a month, or several days, a cloud stood above the tabernacle, then the sons of Israel stood and did not set off; and when it rose, then they set off;
by the direction of the Lord they stopped, and by the direction of the Lord they went on a journey: they followed the direction of the Lord at the command of the Lord given through Moses.
