Если кто украдет вола или овцу и заколет или продаст, то пять волов заплатит за вола и четыре овцы за овцу.
Если кто застанет вора подкапывающего и ударит его, так что он умрет, то кровь не вменится ему;
но если взошло над ним солнце, то вменится ему кровь. Укравший должен заплатить; а если нечем, то пусть продадут его для уплаты за украденное им;
если украденное найдется у него в руках живым, вол ли то, или осел, или овца, пусть заплатит вдвое.
Если кто потравит поле, или виноградник, пустив скот свой травить чужое поле, пусть вознаградит лучшим из поля своего и лучшим из виноградника своего.
Если появится огонь и охватит терн и выжжет копны, или жатву, или поле, то должен заплатить, кто произвел сей пожар.
Если кто отдаст ближнему на сохранение серебро или вещи, и они украдены будут из дома его, то, если найдется вор, пусть он заплатит вдвое;
а если не найдется вор, пусть хозяин дома придет пред судей и поклянется, что не простер руки своей на собственность ближнего своего.
О всякой вещи спорной, о воле, об осле, об овце, об одежде, о всякой вещи потерянной, о которой кто-нибудь скажет, что она его, дело обоих должно быть доведено до судей: кого обвинят судьи, тот заплатит ближнему своему вдвое.
Если кто отдаст ближнему своему осла, или вола, или овцу, или какой другой скот на сбережение, а он умрет, или будет поврежден, или уведен, так что никто сего не увидит, -
клятва пред Господом да будет между обоими в том, что взявший не простер руки своей на собственность ближнего своего; и хозяин должен принять, а тот не будет платить;
а если украден будет у него, то должен заплатить хозяину его;
если же будет зверем растерзан, то пусть в доказательство представит растерзанное: за растерзанное он не платит.
Если кто займет у ближнего своего скот, и он будет поврежден, или умрет, а хозяина его не было при нем, то должен заплатить;
если же хозяин его был при нем, то не должен платить; если он взят был в наймы за деньги, то пусть и пойдет за ту цену.
Если обольстит кто девицу необрученную и переспит с нею, пусть даст ей вено и возьмет ее себе в жену;
а если отец не согласится выдать ее за него, пусть заплатит столько серебра, сколько полагается на вено девицам.
Ворожеи не оставляй в живых.
Всякий скотоложник да будет предан смерти.
Приносящий жертву богам, кроме одного Господа, да будет истреблен.
Пришельца не притесняй и не угнетай его, ибо вы сами были пришельцами в земле Египетской.
Ни вдовы, ни сироты не притесняйте;
если же ты притеснишь их, то, когда они возопиют ко Мне, Я услышу вопль их,
и воспламенится гнев Мой, и убью вас мечом, и будут жены ваши вдовами и дети ваши сиротами.
Если дашь деньги взаймы бедному из народа Моего, то не притесняй его и не налагай на него роста.
Если возьмешь в залог одежду ближнего твоего, до захождения солнца возврати ее,
ибо она есть единственный покров у него, она одеяние тела его: в чем будет он спать? итак, когда он возопиет ко Мне, Я услышу, ибо Я милосерд.
Судей не злословь и начальника в народе твоем не поноси.
Не медли приносить Мне начатки от гумна твоего и от точила твоего; отдавай Мне первенца из сынов твоих;
то же делай с волом твоим и с овцою твоею. семь дней пусть они будут при матери своей, а в восьмой день отдавай их Мне.
И будете у Меня людьми святыми; и мяса, растерзанного зверем в поле, не ешьте, псам бросайте его.

If anyone steals an ox or a sheep and slaughters or sells, then five oxen will pay for the ox and four sheep for the sheep.
If someone catches a thief who is burrowing in and strikes him so that he dies, then the blood will not be credited to him;
but if the sun rose over him, then blood will be imputed to him. The thief must pay; and if there is nothing, then let them sell him to pay for what he has stolen;
if the stolen is found in his hands alive, be it an ox, or a donkey, or a sheep, let him pay twice.
If anyone grazes a field, or a vineyard, letting his cattle poison someone else's field, let him reward the best of his field and the best of his vineyard.
If a fire appears and engulfs the thorns and burns the heaps, or the harvest, or the field, then whoever made this fire must pay.
If someone gives a neighbor to keep silver or things, and they are stolen from his house, then if a thief is found, let him pay double;
but if a thief is not found, let the owner of the house come before the judges and swear that he has not stretched out his hand over the property of his neighbor.
About every controversial thing, about a will, about a donkey, about a sheep, about clothes, about every thing lost, about which someone will say that she is his, the case of both should be brought to the judge: whoever the judges accused, he will pay his neighbor twice. ...
If someone gives his neighbor a donkey, or an ox, or a sheep, or some other livestock for saving, and he dies, or is damaged, or is taken away, so that no one will see it, -
an oath before the Lord be between both of them, that he who took it did not stretch out his hand over the property of his neighbor; and the owner must accept, but he will not pay;
but if it is stolen from him, he must pay to his owner;
if he is torn to pieces by the beast, then let him present the torn to pieces as proof: he does not pay for the torn to pieces.
If someone borrows cattle from his neighbor, and he is damaged, or dies, and his owner was not with him, then he must pay;
if his owner was with him, then he should not pay; if he was hired for money, then let him go for that price.
If someone deceives the untamed girl and sleeps with her, let him give her a vein and take her to be his wife;
and if the father does not agree to marry her to him, let him pay as much silver as the maidens depend on for the vein.
Do not leave the sorcerers alive.
Let every cattle-lover be put to death.
He who sacrifices to gods besides the Lord alone, let him be destroyed.
Do not oppress or oppress the stranger, for you yourself were strangers in the land of Egypt.
Do not oppress a widow or an orphan;
but if you oppress them, then when they cry out to me, I will hear their cry,
and my anger will be kindled, and I will kill you with the sword, and your wives will be widows, and your children will be orphans.
If you lend money to the poor of my people, then do not oppress him or impose growth on him.
If you take your neighbor's clothing as a pledge, return it before the sun goes down,
for she is his only covering, she is the garment of his body: in what will he sleep? so when he cries out to me, I will hear, for I am merciful.
Do not revile the judges, and do not revile the ruler of your people.
Do not hesitate to bring me the firstfruits of your threshing floor and of your winepress; Give me the firstborn of your sons;
Do the same with your ox and your sheep. seven days let them be with their mother, and on the eighth day give them to me.
And you will be holy men to me; and do not eat the meat torn apart by the beast in the field, throw it to the dogs.
