Седых зарниц ветвистые изломы
Тебе напомнят свет златистых кУдрей,
Что озаряют дивные хоромы,
Куда придут мудрейшие из мудрых.
Ты с горькою улыбкой нарисуешь
Картины прошлой жизни, где вы рядом.
Отныне ей не знать, о чем тоскуешь.
Напрасно в небе ищешь ее взгляды.
Быть может, ты лелеешь те страницы,
Где повесть вашу тлен еще не тронул,
Где в поле васильков с ней хоронился,
Где из фиалок ей дарил корону.
Как скоро прекратишь то кликать имя,
Крутые скалы эхом проклиная,
Сдирая в мясо горло перед ними,
С жестокой правдой знаться не желая?
Тебе в ответ лишь холод горных ветров,
И нету в нем желанных сердцу ноток.
"Когда" ты? Кто ты? Что с тобой и где ты?
Платил ли кровью ты, за жизнь, платил ли потом?
Нет голубых тех глаз, нет той улыбки.
Нет обещанья быть навеки целым.
В том не клянись, в том нет твоей ошибки.
Лишь долг виновен в том, что стал уделом.
На поле брани сыновей ушедших
Ей души собирать теперь пристало,
И в тех боях покой в чести нашедших
Под руку поведет она в Валхаллу.
Там трапезу она разделит с ними.
Там Один сам наполнит ее чашу,
И в памяти навечно молодыми
Останутся на небе братья наши.
И все же, ты порой на звезды смотришь,
И видишь силуэт печальной девы,
И блик улыбки светлой с жаждой ловишь,
И плачешь под реки хмельной напевы.

"When you? Who are you? What is the matter with you and where are you?
Did you pay with blood, for life, did you pay later?
There are no blue eyes, no smile.
There is no promise to be forever whole.
Don’t swear it, it’s not your mistake.
Only duty is guilty of becoming an inheritance.
On the battlefield of the sons of the departed
It’s fitting for her to collect souls,
And in those battles, peace in honor of those who found
By hand, she will lead to Valhalla.
There she will share a meal with them.
There Odin himself will fill her cup,
And in memory forever young
Our brothers will remain in heaven.
And yet, you sometimes look at the stars,
And you see the silhouette of a sad maiden
And you catch the glare of a bright smile with thirst
And cry beneath the rivers of hoppy tunes.
