Ещё в далёком детстве я мечтал быть космонавтом,
Носить громоздкий скафандр и управлять шаттлом.
Хотел изучить большое множество других галактик,
Будучи ещё совсем безобидной малявкой.
Каково это, когда вокруг нет гравитации?
Каково это – гулять по космической станции?
Для меня это шаг, зато большой прыжок для нации,
От интереса и страха тряслись колени и пальцы.
Нас было много и мы все были ровесниками,
И вместе изучать космос было ещё интересней.
Мы проводили опыты и делали тесты,
Доказывая взрослым, что мир далеко не тесный.
Вместо конструктора LEGO – модели спутников NASA.
Сколько до ближней планеты? И какова её масса?
Летая мысленно дальше, чем облака, и выше, чем небо,
Я никогда ещё счастлив так не был.

И вот я в ракете, с экипажем сижу в отсеке пилотном.
Совсем немного осталось – 10 секунд до взлёта.
Что будет дальше – меня уже совсем не заботит,
Будь там отсутствие гравитации и кислорода.
Медленно пропадает чувство пространства и времени,
Там нету дневного света или ночной темени,
Там есть чёрные дыры и параллельные измерения.
В общем одна феерия, не более и не менее.
Мы преодолеем все слои атмосферы,
Облетим несколько раз всю солнечную систему,
Исследуем Уран и высадимся на Венере.
А на Плутоне наш флаг окажется самым первым.
Мы медленно дрейфуем через пустоту вселенной.
Пальцы уже не трясутся и не дрожат колени.
Мы провожаем закаты и встречаем рассветы.
Признайте, вы тоже были детьми и мечтали об этом…
