Сняв пелену белых бинтов человек собрался в тайгу
И вот запрягая коней увидал на мокром от крови снегу
Пес неподвижно у дома лежал с рваною раной в боку

Хозяин нагнулся, хотел приласкать, но пес к прыжку был готов
Пес прыгнул, вцепился, и не разжать мертвую хватку клыков
Лицо исцарапал колючий снег и руки морозит мороз
Собака в крови, в крови человек, а дом от них в паре шагов

И вот они оба лежат у дома и оба они в крови
Больше никогда не пойдет человек охотиться на зверя в тайге
