Тише…, рокот волн морей
Скрежет стали поглотил,
Как и дым ушедших дней…
Чашу яда я испил.
Но, вспоминать хрустальный дом
С вечным шквалом адских гроз,
Пир безумья с чужаком,
Для тебя - последний долг и жажда
С печатью горьких слёз...
Так, гори же гладь,
Вздымая тлен, да пепел с вен!
Нет сил и зла, чтоб ждать…
Не вдыхай огня,
Храни свой век от едких нег!
На счастье силы зла
Довлеет над тобой дым над водой…
Ветви за листом ещё раз лист
Всё роняют с ветхих ив
В воды рек, чей путь лучист,
Так живешь и ждёшь прилив…
Но, у реки той нет конца,
Хоть в теченьи коротка.
Да горит в огне вода,
Поднимая к небу едкий дым любви,
Смерть внезапна и легка!
Так, гори же гладь,
Вздымая тлен, да пепел с вен!
Нет сил и зла, чтоб ждать…
Не вдыхай огня,
Храни свой век от едких нег!
На счастье силы зла
Довлеет над тобой дым над водой…

Everything is dropped from the old willows
In the waters of rivers whose path is radiant,
So you live and wait for the tide...
But that river has no end,
