Я был мертвый, я видел рай.
Верь или нет, сам решай.
Господь меня пустил в свои чертоги,
Поведал мне то, что знают лишь боги.
Всё что я хотел, в раю возникало,
Но было одно, чего мне не хватало.
Я попал в рай, по божьему веленью,
Но Создатель пошутил жестоко!
И я вернулся на грешную землю,
Ведь на небе нет панк-рока!
Ангелы и все остальные святоши
Слушают псалмы, от них мне тошно.
Райская музыка режет мне слух
И не выразить свой бунтарский дух.
Нет уж, спасибо, мне было приятно,
Но я решил вернуться обратно.
Я попал в рай, по божьему веленью,
Но Создатель пошутил жестоко!
И я вернулся на грешную землю,
Ведь на небе нет панк-рока!
Меня отпустили обратно домой.
Как я был рад, что я снова живой.
Я собрал друзей у себя дома,
Целый день слушал рок из магнитофона.
Вышел покурить в подъезд, на перила
И подумал «Вот райская жизнь наступила!»
Я снова дома, по божьему веленью
Видимо создатель так больше не мог!
Те, кто покинул грешную землю
Теперь в раю слушают панк-рок!

Everything I wanted appeared in heaven,

Listen to psalms, they make me sick.
Heavenly music grates on my ears
And I cannot express my rebellious spirit.

But I decided to go back.

They let me go back home.
How glad I was that I was alive again.
I gathered my friends at my house,
I listened to rock from the tape recorder all day long.
I went out to smoke in the entryway, on the railing
And I thought, "Here comes heavenly life!"
I'm home again, by God's command
Apparently the creator couldn't do it anymore!
Those who left the sinful earth
Now they listen to punk rock in heaven!
