Шёл Демьян считал ворон
У воды русалку
Сквозь деревья видит он

Но русалка испугалась
И отпрянула назад
Раздается плеск воды
И в объятьях темноты

Стала у Демьяна
Жизнь с тех пор совсем другой
Ходит будто пьяный
Потерял души покой
Тонет словно в море
Он в кошмарах по ночам
Помешался вскоре
Слышит голос тут и там
Он весь берег обыскал
Он искал ее средь скал
Но попытки были тщетны
Он от боли закричал
Не могу так больше жить
Мне б то утро позабыть
Даже если безответно

Я никогда не хотела сама
Видеть страданья простых моряков
Но мои песни их сводят с ума
Это проклятие древних богов
Бедный рыбак, ну зачем ты пришел

Голос русалки таит в себе зло

За русалкой вслед на дно
