В высоком тереме за резным окном
Жила княгиня — светлый ангел в доме том
Князь наказал «Не выходи одна
Чтоб не случилась с тобой беда моя жена»
Но вот пришла к ней женщина простая
С улыбкой ласковой с речью неземной
«Пойдём в сад где речка так и манит
Где солнце греет а вода — как лёд живой»
Белая уточка крылья расправь
В небо взлети не скрывайся во тьму
Сердце твоё — как живая вода
Верь что спасенье придёт к тебе
Не устояла княгиня шагнула в тень
В воду вошла — и тут же сменился день
Удар по спине — и вот она уже
Белая уточка птица на волне
А ведьма в платье её как тень скользнула
Князя встретила в глаза ему взглянула
И стала жить в его доме как жена
Только душа её — чёрная как тьма
Белая уточка крылья расправь
В небо взлети не скрывайся во тьму
Сердце твоё — как живая вода
Верь что спасенье придёт к тебе
А уточка на свет родила троих
Двух крепких деток и третьего заморышка
Растила их учила жить
Но ведьма злобой своей не могла забыть
Позвала деток накормила уложила
А ночью к двери подкралась заговорила
«Спите детки или нет» — но заморышек
Всё слышал всё знал и ответ держал
– Мы спим – не спим думу думаем
– что хотят нас всех порезати
– огни кладут калиновые
– котлы висят кипучие
– ножи висят булатные
Белая уточка крылья расправь
В небо взлети не скрывайся во тьму
Сердце твоё — как живая вода
Верь что спасенье придёт к тебе
Когда дети пали уточка взлетела
К княжескому двору — где беда созрела
Увидела деток холодных как снег
И закричала забыв про весь век
«Кря кря мои деточки кря кря голубки
Я вас растила я вас берегла
А ведьма злая отняла у вас всё
Но я верну вас я спасу вас родные»
Князь услышал крик поймал уточку в руки
Сказал «Стань девой сбрось птичьи муки»
И вновь княгиня — краса и свет
Детей оживили развеяли колдуньи след
Ведьму поймали пустили в поле
Где ветер развеял её злое горе
А семья живёт добро наживает
И сказку эту нам передаёт

The children were revived and the witch's trace was dispelled
The witch was caught and released into the field

And the family lives and makes good money
