The Greenland shark
five hundred years old
isolated from mankind
deep down
in the bottom of the sea
Half dead
half blind
parasites in its eyes
it's been there for ages
unaware of what's going on up here
Occasionally rising to the surface
to grab a bite
a sea lion
or a polar bear
Slowly moving
up the Iberian coast
passing the Scottish Islands
towards the colder waters of Greenland
