Робин из битвы выйдет целым,

Отскакивать будут стрелы!

Ничуть других не тверже,
И может быть сражён стрелой
Или мечом повержен.
Тогда над ним склонится друг ?
Самый мятежный, самый смелый,-
Чтобы у Робина из рук
Взять славный лук и стрелы!
В заветный рог он затрубит
Над рощами Шервуда?
Покуда в битве не убит,
Он будет Робин Гудом.
Ты можешь Гудом стать, сосед,
А может даже, я им буду?
Вот почему на тыщи лет
Нет смерти Робин Гуду!
