Но нет устройств, чтоб к ним пройти сквозь цепь нулей.
В Дни Чудес мир был так прост и строен -
Тайн поток жизни дарил земной.
Но ответь, как нам кольцо построить
С Млечный путь величиной?
Ускоритель частиц можно сделать мощней.
Продлить кольцо - найти частицы тяжелей.
И открытий поток так волшебно сиял,
Пока размер устройств препятствием не стал.
Стометровых колец на начале пути
Хватило, чтоб открыть все лямбды-дельты-кси,
Кварки все предсказать и увидеть черты
Для всех полей одной теории мечты.
В Дни Чудес
Вайнберг, Салам и Глэшоу
Двух полей общий закон нашли,
Но под ним тройка частиц новейших:
Их поймать мы не могли.
Лямбды-дельты-омеги-кси -
Все их массы лежат вблизи
На протон и нейтрон все похожи они
Все открыты подряд в те дни.
А в теории двух полей
Три частицы куда хитрей:
И протонов и дельт в сотню раз тяжелей
И поймать их в сто раз трудней.
Пятьдесят долгих лет лишь на первую цель -
Проверить двух полей единую модель
Три бозона нашлись в ускорителях ЦЕРН,
Километраж которых - семь и двадцать семь.
А для трёх-четырёх совмещённых полей
Открытий нет и близко - как ни сожалей
Вероятно, опять наши кольца малы?
