45 И тотчас понудил учеников Своих войти в лодку и отправиться вперед на другую сторону к Вифсаиде, пока Он отпустит народ.
46 И, отпустив их, пошел на гору помолиться.
47 Вечером лодка была посреди моря, а Он один на земле.
48 И увидел их бедствующих в плавании, потому что ветер им был противный; около же четвертой стражи ночи подошел к ним, идя по морю, и хотел миновать их.
49 Они, увидев Его идущего по морю, подумали, что это призрак, и вскричали.
50 Ибо все видели Его и испугались. И тотчас заговорил с ними и сказал им: ободритесь; это Я, не бойтесь.
51 И вошел к ним в лодку, и ветер утих. И они чрезвычайно изумлялись в себе и дивились,
52 ибо не вразумились чудом над хлебами, потому что сердце их было окаменено.
53 И, переправившись, прибыли в землю Геннисаретскую и пристали к берегу.

В сегодняшнем чтении мы слышим рассказ о чуде хождения по водам.

После насыщения нескольких тысяч человек пятью хлебами и двумя рыбами, Христос понуждает учеников сесть в лодку и переплыть на другой берег, а Сам остается для того, чтобы отпустить народ. Как мы потом увидим, это было сделано сознательно, так как ученики должны были пройти сложный путь духовного возрастания и укрепления в вере.

Уже вечером, после молитвы на горе, Он видит их бедствующими, так как им приходится бороться с противоположным ветром. Он идет им на помощь только в четвертую стражу, то есть уже под утро. Это может показаться странным, почему Он не пришел на помощь сразу? Но Бог, как мудрый воспитатель дает человеку возможность пройти трудности, потому что только это позволяет ему расти. Речь, конечно, не идет о чрезвычайных ситуациях, но если бы ребенок получал помощь сразу как только в ней нуждается, он бы не научился справляться с трудностями сам. Апостолы должны были приложить свои силы, чтобы получить помощь и подкрепление Божье. И это истина, которая касается не только их, но и каждого из нас. В каждой трудной ситуации мы должны помнить, что Бог делает для нас очень много, гораздо больше, чем мы видим и осознаем. Но Он не может сделать за нас все, как из соображений педагогики, так и просто учитывая нашу собственную свободу. Он дает нам жизнь, разум, силы, для того, чтобы воплощать задуманное… Он предлагает нам верный путь, но не может заставить нас идти по нему.

Итак, Господь идет по водам, но не к ним, а намеревается миновать их. Стоит сказать, что в Евангелии это не единственный случай, когда Он привлекает к себе внимание учеников именно таким способом. Вероятно, именно поэтому они увидев Его проходящим мимо, ужаснулись, думая, что видят призрака. После тяжелой ночи, в которую они боролись с волнами, перед рассветом, они видят проходящего мимо по воде учителя – они естественно ужаснулись.

Но так нужно, чтобы пройдя через страх, они тем более ободрились, когда поняли, Кто перед ними. Христос приходит к ним с ободрением и призывом не бояться. Это совершенно поразительно, потому что его слова «Ободритесь; Это Я, не бойтесь» можно понять и как относящиеся к этой конкретной ситуации, и более широко, как относящееся ко всему ночному испытанию. В таком случае, Христос как был говорит: «Ободритесь, испытание позади. Это Я. Я как Бог, учу вас не отчаиваться, учу преодолевать трудности, веду вас к вере более совершенной». Если это так, то Христос говорит эти слова не только апостолам, Он говорит их всем нам: «Трудности, которые есть в вашей жизни в моей власти, но вы должны их пройти, дабы вырасти и окрепнуть духовно». Увидев чудо умножения хлебов, апостолы, при всей его силе, не вразумились, потому что сердце из было окаменевшим. Это окаменение – единственное, что остается в нашей власти. Попуская испытания в нашей жизни, Бог, как любящий Отец, одновременно поддерживает нас на этом пути. Наше же дело, расти и не бояться, потому что Он всегда рядом.

In today's reading, we hear the story about the miracle of walking around the waters.

As we then see, it was done consciously, since the disciples had to pass a difficult path of spiritual increase and strengthen in faith.

Already in the evening, after prayer on the mountain, he sees them with distortion, as they have to fight the opposite wind. He goes to help them only in the fourth guard, that is, in the morning. It may seem strange why he did not come to the rescue right? But God, as a wise teacher, gives a person the opportunity to pass difficulties, because only this allows him to grow. Of course, it is not about emergency situations, but if the child received assistance as soon as it needs, he would not have learned to cope with the difficulties himself. The apostles should have attached their strength to get help and reinforcement God. And this is the truth that concerns not only them, but also each of us. In every difficult situation, we must remember that God does a lot for us, much more than we see and realize. But he cannot do everything for us, both for considerations of pedagogy, and simply considering our own freedom. He gives us life, mind, forces, in order to embody the conceived ... He offers us a faithful way, but can't make us go along it.

So, the Lord goes on the waters, but not to them, but intends to pass them. It is worth saying that in the Gospel it is not the only case when he attracts the attention of students in this way. It is probably why they seeing him passing by, horrified, thinking that they would see a ghost. After a heavy night, in which they fought with the waves, before dawn, they see the teacher passing by the water - they were naturally horrified.

But it is necessary to pass through fear, they are all the more encouraged when they understood who in front of them. Christ comes to them with encouragement and the call is not afraid. It is completely striking, because his words "encourage; This is me, do not be afraid. "You can understand and as relating to this particular situation, and more widely, as you relate to the whole night test. In this case, Christ as he says: "Enough, the test behind. This is me. I'm like God, I do not despair you, I teach to overcome difficulties, lead you to faith more perfect. " If this is so, then Christ says these words not only to the apostles, he tells them to all of us: "The difficulties that are in your life in my power, but you must pass them in order to grow and grow out spiritually." Seeing the miracle of multiplication of breads, the apostles, with all his strength, were not intended, because the heart was petrified. This petition is the only thing that remains in our power. Promotional tests in our lives, God, like a loving father, at the same time supports us on this path. Our case, grow and not be afraid, because it is always there.
