Свет, угасающий в дивных глазах, гаснет с каждой секундой быстрей,
Он не пожар был, это был яд, происк корысти душевной,
Свет был спокоен и даже игрив, правил игры не ломая,
Но, разгоревшись очень, стал лжив, в принципе врал не играя.

Пусть бродит за спиной дыхание ночи,
Пусть правит чёрт душой, всё это впереди
И ты в слепой-глуши мотив не разберёшь,
Ты это не поймёшь.

Свет изменился оскалом в глазах, он напрягался напрасно
И нестерпимым снова стал яд, свет потерпел вдруг фиаско,
Тьма же спокойно шла позади, свет постепенно сменяя
И собирая осколки в груди, прах из земли поднимая.

Пусть бродит за спиной дыхание ночи,
Пусть правит чёрт душой, всё это впереди
И ты в слепой-глуши мотив не разберёшь,
Ты это не поймёшь.

Страсти утихли в прошествии лет, им всё ж по нраву другая,
Именно та, что не будет смотреть, мыслями жадность питая,
Пальцами тонкими плесть полотно, с умыслом падким не важным,
Той, что конечно уже всё равно, быть или честной иль праздной.
